Mumbai police denies permission for #Queer #pride march this year.

This roughly translates to "we believe any protest space will necessarily become about #CAA_NRC_NPR and we've been told to kill all protest spaces right now. So bear with us, we can't protect your right to assemble for any cause."

Mainstream media's contempt for thinkers simply reflects larger society's contempt for thinkers.
An insecure, inflexible society will defend it's collective Ego from people who are smart enough to see it's worst systemic flaws and want to do something about it.
Stop being afraid of what you can create. Take the risk.
