Once again I need to ask, "Would you believe this if you weren't being paid to?" and "Would you be opposed to this if people _weren't_ being paid to believe it?"
Do any of my software engineering friends have a student who is interested in static and dynamic program analysis and is in need of a project?

@joosteto No, what I heard was that it is now 1,000 Russians dying per Ukrainian! But I did not read this myself, it is one of my colleagues who said he saw this statistic. Analysts are being surprised that Ukraine may win the war through attrition. Personally (with NO professional qualification, just guessing) I conjecture this is why US (really, Trump) & IL (really, Netanyahu) attacked Iran, to drive up oil prices for a desperate RU (really, Putin). #inequality lets individuals destroy states.

Conventional commit format sucks. What you really want is to use git trailers. The subject line of a commit message is PRIME real estate, and shouldn't be wasted on tools

General Stanley McChrystal in a recent NYT interview laid out why the entire Iran war strategy is built on magical thinking. He described three “great seductions” that trap American administrations: covert action that never stays covert, surgical Special Ops raids that don’t change facts on the ground, and the myth of air power dominance. He’s seen all three up close. And he’s watching all three fail in real time in Iran.

“Everything after this will be harder,” McChrystal said.
