I'm an EV Car driver. I had been using Google Slides to calculate percentage from KWh charged.
Today, I used ChatGPT to write a web-app, and within an hour I prototyped my first ever web-app (PWA).

Charge Pro is now in beta testing.
Disclaimer: This is a personal project, do not expect much. Still, it may prove to be useful for Electric Vehicle users that want to track and log their charges, especially with AC charge stations that are inherently dumber than the DC ones.

Ok, I found it by chance on the "..." part of the UI. There's "settings" and then there's "uninstall".
Fun thing is, this uninstall is under "settings" but if you search inside settings for "copilot" you cannot find a thing.
Disappointed by Windows once again. (Not surprised)
I used to think that "my documents" was not accessible by anyone but the owner of the folder. Turns out if you can boot the machine with another OS, all files are yours. Or if you have physical access to disk, all data is yours. I knew XP had this non security available for many years, but Win 10? How about win11?
Is there a native OS solution to this, like turning on a feature?
I've come across Gling, an AI video editor. I'm not a video editor person, I just sometimes have several takes of similar shots (e.g. kid playing basketball, or talking a script for homework, etc.) and want to bring them together to find the best in each.
It has the potential to become a productive tool in the near-to-mid term, although it couldn't understand that the two videos I uploaded were the same script taken twice.
I don't know if there are many AI video editors (for free) out there?
So instead of positioning LoRa/meshtastic the „traditional“ way — a solution for off-grid, remote areas — I want to explore its potential as a kind of „whisper network“ for neighbourhoods, local communities. In densely populated areas. With the very low bandwidth as a feature, not a bug.
Found this playlist from @paulomalley with short tutorials on how to use various Mastodon features. I know some of these aren't as widely known as they should be! (via @elan)
