@JasonAnthonyGuy Whoops, got it.
@jieves I had to use a Roku a few months ago and found the interface terrible.
@jsit That might be a mockup of some sort. I don't get a rich answer like that. I get this:
@ralampe Do you think Apple makes more money in the EU than in the US? If so, you are wrong. Obviously the EU is large enough to care about, otherwise this discussion wouldn’t be happening. But it’s not a make-or-break market. And, more to the point, the way the DMA is working out, US companies aren’t leaving. They’re just unable to bring new features and platforms there. So the EU is turning into something (loosely) akin to Cuba, frozen in time technology-wise.
@peterrussell Classic.
@marchummel I had to look it up, but I think I got it right: https://www.merriam-webster.com/grammar/is-it-used-to-or-use-to
@jsit I haven’t seen that. How’d you get there? Have you seen it again? It sure looks like Apple Garamond.
@marcoarment @gruber Now that the war against menu icons has been won, can we turn our attention to sidebar selection states? Frankly, it’s been terrible since they removed the blue selection state after 10.9 Mavericks. #DeathtoDishwaterGrey
@i_am_fabs @nstrm @stroughtonsmith There’s no cognitive dissonance in believing that the Mac should allow things that iOS does not, and that iOS should prevent things that the Mac allows. Apple clearly believes that that iOS should not have the “power to shoot yourself in the foot” capabilities that the Mac does, but that the Mac needs that power.
