@daringfireball What a biased, incredibly one-sided take. Elon Musk added/approved this feature to bring more transparency to the platform. The fact that it's uncovering bots is a GOOD thing, & reveals an industry-wide bot problem, as these bots are incentivized to create rage bait. In addition, the revealed bots span BOTH political sides, not just MAGA accounts, i.e. accounts posing as Gaza journalists or government accounts. If only other social media platforms did the same!

[…]The probe, launched after Tesla filed 8,653 claims over a single weekend in January 2025, has cleared the automaker, confirming the submissions were lawful and compliant with program rules. Tesla will now receive the $43 million that was previously frozen.”
