At 40+, I’m helping my daughter chase her passion as she prepares for this incredible dance school – the very one that has become my dream in recent years. Back when I was 15, dance wasn’t even on my radar; I was all about computers and completely different worlds. This place wasn’t my teenage dream – it’s the dream I’ve discovered now, as a grown man.
Midway through dance class my heart rate climbed smoothly after a sharp transition to stillness – no pain, no panic, just acceleration then gentle return. More coffee than usual + poor hydration that day. Body giving feedback, not threat. Adjusting the variables and watching. Hope it stays rare.
1/ On 15 July 2024 I removed my bed.
No pain. No injury. Just curiosity: could sleeping on the floor actually be *better*?
Nearly 2 years later it’s my normal.
