Claude can't do BASIC. The line numbers and GOTOs seem to be deal breakers. I thought an occasional RENUM would help but it did not. It was entertaining spending a couple hours watching it try and fail though 😀

I have $249 in free "Claude Code on the web" credits but find it not very useful as it does not show me the code. It seems to want to work at the level of conversational PRs, which is not nearly low-level enough to be of any interest. I think it should have an embedded VS Code or something similar to actually be useful.

The idea of doing code via a code-not-visible conversation is weird and not workable for me, as a coder. Maybe this is for non-coders? 🤷‍♂️
