Impressive that over the last day, nearly 70% of our electricity in the UK has come from renewables, reducing our reliance on imports of gas and nuclear material and reducing our production of carbon dioxide.

I love the green and wild spaces in our neighbourhood. Mile End is one of the most densely populated wards in #TowerHamlets, and these spaces are, therefore, vital for our health and wellbeing. They need a lot of care and management, and I'm not afraid of getting stuck in.
I've lived in Mile End since 2002 and have been active in my community. You may already know me as the beekeeper in Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park. Sadly, beekeeping is on hold due to my housing situation, but I look forward to restarting this.
