A while ago, I was watching Vikings (netflix) with subtitles on as my OH was asleep, and at one point a man was running away from baddies... he was out of breath and the subtitle said "Man Pants" which made me laugh as I pictured him wearing boxers or similar 😁

Then, recently, I was watching another episode and this came up... 😂

Women have always been rightfully angry at being attacked. Celebrate with me today the birthday of Elisabetta Sirani.

Born 8th January 1638, Elisabetta Sirani was an Italian baroque era painter and printmaker. She established an academy for other female artists.

Sirani painted Timoclea of Thebes throwing the man who raped her down a well. She then threw rocks at him until he was dead. Painted in 1659.

Elisabetta Sirani died in unexplained circumstances aged only 27.

I am not good at baking.

Then I saw a @sundogplanets post that mentioned a really easy chocolate cake and the recipe and pic of the cake were included. It looked good. I decided to give it a go and je suis trés content! 🤗
