The fossil industry is trying to delay renewables to get a few more years of profit out of fossil extraction. They are trying to monopolize renewable energy to continue to make their profit.
Most of the political BS we are facing is caused by states and corporations which currently earn vast fortunes by controlling the resources, technology and distribution of fossil fuels, and they are maneuvering to somehow retain their income in this transition to solar/wind/battery energy system.

Sean Reynolds@ascentale @xtaran @bikenite #BikeNite A5. In Oakland, there's a coffee roaster called Bicycle Coffee, they do all their deliveries to cafes that serve their beans by bike trailer. There's also a taqueria in Jack London Square with a taco bike that they bring to pop-ups and such.
