Don't know if it works for you, but I like to think most people aren't bad or evil but respond in different ways to these uncertain times.
The outcome is the same, but I don't have to "write people off".
Throughout history there have been times like this and it will pass and then we have to learn to live together again.

We've had the opposite happen to us: the cat saw us enter the garden walked up to the door expectantly and leaned on the latch.
In the end we had to smash the window 😄
