you're robbing yourself AND your children of looking back at a window into a real moment. no one cares if they look polished and cool in old photos past highschool. those are the photos people forget. the candid ones are priceless. why are you taking that away from yourself?
saw an ad for AI filtering a photo of one's toddler 'to avoid the cost of a studio portrait' and 1) studio portraits are an extra bonus, they're supposed to be special and 2) old photos are cherished and special because they show a memory that the parents lived through and the children were present for. they're cherished most often because they're candid and show a reality no one can revisit. a portal to the past. that's the nostalgia. so, to take that and add an unreality filter over it? huh?
juniper was in it too btw. it's how i survived
what you all need to know is that i edited something with me in it today and i was so strong and cringed only minimally

Picked up a You Play As A Knight game because, as we all know, gay men can’t help but romanticize being a tin can swinging a poker around, and got offed by bandits thrice in a row after making camomile tea each time. So it’s going well
