Reddit's CEO is now comparing the people who've done the most to make the site popular to "landed gentry" -- demonstrating that he's both over-the-top arrogant and ignorant.

He's also threatening to change the rules of the site to make it easier to remove moderators. Yes, that'll definitely encourage more people to build communities there.

If anyone should be removed, it's him.

After Reddit's beyond-arrogant CEO dismissed the subreddit blackout as just posturing, moderators of discussions extended the blackout. This is the only sensible response to the company's contempt.

This decentralized server thing absolutely sucks. So I did a server transfer but still lost my old content replacing it with a link to a dead page? And this is now a "new" account? And I have to jump through hoops to follow people on other servers? And there can be multiples of the same handle? What is the advantage here? Can we just get a social network that doesn't suck, isn't run by a manbaby or both?
