The "Ring of Fire" solar eclipse begins this Saturday 10/14 at 8 am Pacific. Here in the SF Bay Area, we'll get ~70% of totality at around 9:30 am, as the sweet spot passes north of us.

Google Maps is still the best at quickly showing traffic, but they keep adding layers of POI that are in fact not interesting (paid?), jumbles of destinations I accidentally select when I'm trying to zoom, social/messaging nonsense, and the "latest" things I need to swipe away every time I launch the app. All 100% irrelevant and tiresome. Is there some secret Google sauce to clear this stuff out?
