@jorge it's really sad... My reliable phone is the only reason I was able to tinker and learn Linux. I don't need to care about the operating system, it either works and I'm able to search for help or the phone is broken.
I'm not giving up basic functions, screw them reddit users. We will have reliable Linux computers!


@hopeless @lina I believe dnf has --security and upgrade-minimal options. In theory you'd receive bugfixes and security patches only.
Maybe Fedora is not great for completely new users, they'll have to be aware of downsides early on and navigate old looking RPMFusion site (let's not forget people don't know CLI yet and what commands do), but each distribution always has something off. Might as well pick and learn it.
