Liberal responses to this, while well meaning, often make me sick. “Well just piss on the floor then!” “This is a distraction.” “What will their reaction be when a passing woman enters a mens bathroom, that will sure show them.” Like none of this makes it better. It’s not funny, it’s not a gotcha.

Before the private space industry blots out the night sky with a million AI data centre satellites.

Seems like a poignant time to share some recent work. Trans hate is fascist. #art #transrights

Two reasons why I’m not interested in letting AI ghostwrite for me:

1) Writing is how I think things through and come to conclusions.

2) Above all, I am motivated by the possibility that I have not yet written the best thing I’ll ever write.

Meet the Tech Reporters Using AI to Help Write and Edit Their Stories

Independent writers are using AI agents all throughout their reporting process. What’s the value of a human journalist, anyway?

This is why I cringe every time some tech bro mouths off that Europe doesn't "innovate" the way America/Silicon Valley does.

I mean, they're right in a way. Thing is we should be *thankful* that's the case! 😄

Europe is way, way ahead of us when it comes to sustaining non-commercial democractic technology which serves the commons rather than corporate shareholders.

And so much of what I benefit from in computing these days is possible because of 🇪🇺

Codeberg is a great example BTW! 🙌

If you told me back in 2021 that I was saving money by buying a new console at launch I would have laughed in your face…

I’m very excited to not watch that new Harry Potter show.

As far as I'm concerned, you have three options:

1. Not watch the new Harry Potter.

2. Watch the new Harry Potter but shut up about it.

3. Admit to watching the new Harry Potter and be judged.

There is no fourth option. I think you should do number 1, but you're a grownup and I don't have access to your router, so it's not up to me. But understand that if you do watch it, you need to either shut the hell up or brace yourself. Because I am not here to make you feel ok about it.

To be honest I didn't read the comics either, but at least I don't misuse the logo.
