Hiya! My name is Syd (he/they), and I'm a witch who is building my own eclectic witchcraft practice grounded in animism and a connection to nature--especially the changing of the seasons and the constantly turning cycles of life and death and decay. I love reading, tarot, and spending time with the trees and the spirits. I also love watching movies (old horror movies and musicals most of all), playing video and card games of all kinds, and making arts and crafts (cross stitch and crochet in particular.)

I am hoping to make friends with fellow witches and nature lovers, learn more about how other people connect with nature and magic in their lives, and share a bit about my own practice too. My current projects include designing a tarot journalling workshop to share with others, working out my personal understandings of the spirits of the seasons, creating tarot spreads based around the Major Arcana, and befriending the local vultures. Hello world! It is such a joy to be out and meeting all of you. Since this is a new account for a new me, here’s an #introduction!

Let’s see, where to start? I’m a girl and a woman, simultaneously a 60+ woman with white hair and a 13-year-old girl who insists she is already a woman. She is growing up fast, and I am elated that we are becoming one. i share this body with several other headmates. Rowan is mostly merged into me, but she/they still butt in occasionally. Auto (no pronouns, just Auto) is the autistic core of my being and takes care of repetitive tasks (like making coffee!), mediating between the rest of us and the pre-verbal parts of our brain, and otherwise runs things when we dissociate. There is a little fox girl who is mostly crepuscular and rarely speaks in words, but who delights in nature and cat photos. A couple of other headmates, including deadme, have been partially absorbed or archived, with the rest scattered to the psychic winds. Plurality is fun, when it isn’t like herding cats.
I am married and have two grown kids.

Um, I’m not sure what else to say about me. I’m queer and a lesbian.

I’m retired, living off of the pension and savings left to me by previous head tenants. Thank you very much, deadme, for sublimating your dysphoria into a lifetime of hard work and for letting Rowan and me take over. Deadme was Man of the Year material for sure, even if he was pretty careless with our body.

Oh, interests and stuff. I like words, being in nature, good coffee, feeling pretty, solving puzzles, playing games, meeting people (now there is something deadme would never have written!).

Hi hello. I'm Moxie. You may know me already, because I've been here before. I'm an overly nostalgic Millennial who just can't give up on social media, despite my best efforts.

I'm a Māori New Zealander living in the Netherlands with my (also Kiwi) husband Sam, and our two dogs Moose & Caribou. I am disabled (by chronic illness & ADHD) and underemployed, so I spend a lot of time in these parts.
