The hit book and movie series the Hunger Games has its first story retold as a spectacular stage show. Performed in the round in an environment which really brings the action up close, the show is a good retelling of the tale of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta’s fight through the annual Hunger Games for the betterment of the people of district twelve.

The show is filled with creativity in how it’s staged.

From zero to hero in no time flat…is not quite how I’d go about describing Disney’s Hercules live on stage. There was a lot I liked about Disney’s Hercules on the West End but felt it didn’t quite live up to the high expectations of a Disney classic adapted to stage.

The movie of Disney’s Hercules is one of my favourite Disney classics that came right at the end of their high period of the 1990s.

The long running and fan favourite gothic horror show is currently on tour in the UK, and I was able to catch it at its performance at The Oxford Playhouse.

The show is based on the 1983 novel of the same name by author Susan Hill, and is one of the most famous examples of horror theatre ever produced. #danielburke #johnmackay #oxfordplayhouse #robinherford #susanHill #thewomaninblack #UKTour

OK, so you’ve just seen The Woman in Black performed on stage, but have questions about it’s ending? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered.

For clarity, this article is about the stage version of The Woman in Black and not about the ending of the film version of the story, which although similar in ways, is different.

And SPOILER WARNING almost goes without saying, as this is explaining the ending after all.
