John TimaeusWe've got a 18+ that germinated from seed sent to us by @jblue (who I still need to reimburse for shipping).
Keep them in a ziplock with damp sawdust/papertowel/rag in the fridge. We kept ours at the very bottom of the lowest drawer for several months, then shoved them in leftover potting soil / compost mix.
Same technique for persimmon.
