A highlight reel / journal of my life and shower thoughts. Very few bummers. I'd rather post for five people here than make Zuck and Elon another dime.
I wish I didn't crave external validation so badly. It often feels like if no one notices or cares whether I do something, I have no motivation to do it. I feel like I shouldn't need anyone to tell me I'm a good boy in order to do the things I already know are best for me.

WFH today for the first time since we adopted Aurora.
Current status: very helpful, purring, possibly asleep.
Tonight we watched 'The Primevals', a film whose production is probably more interesting than its on screen story. Still, it's a breezy 90 minutes and the stop motion animation, matte paintings, old school sets, and ace integration of all three into scenes with human actors are second to none, rivaling Harryhausen. You can feel the love for old school effects. A film about a lost civilization that itself feels beamed in from a bottle universe.
Made elotes and from-scratch refried beans (with salt pork and lard, naturally!) for dinner tonight.
