It's facially illegal and unconstitutional for a lot of reasons, too, of course, but you can't rely on Republican captured courts to strike it down either.
The SAVE Act is a classic Republican tactic of leveraging Americans' racism and a fake panic over immigrants to push what is effectively a soft coup.

@foobardevs One method I have found extremely helpful when I am asking an LLM to do research for me is to ask it at the end, “Are you sure?” and “Is that based on facts or inference?” Often, it will go back and do the research again.
