@viticci Thank you guys for highlighting the work of indy developers! πŸ™
@marcoarment @_Davidsmith thank you guys so much for the years of great discussion. As an indy developer, it can be a very lonely career with no colleagues but hearing from others having to deal with the same problems and decisions that I did was always so helpful. I will really miss the show! πŸ™
@ronnierocha I literally can't write any code without it crashing my entire Mac. πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I filed a FB for my crash.
Why do we still have the 7 day lim… | Apple Developer Forums

@marcoarment not currently, but I can add any you'd like to see. Let me know!
@cristianrus4 @atpfm @marcoarment thanks! I was just listening as well and yes Athlytic seems like it would be a good fit. The Journal feature lets you tag items and you can track correlation to both recovery and sleep. I can DM you a code if you'd like to check it out. I'm an indy dev and also a big fan of ATP and Under the Radar.
@paradeiser its something I would love to consider but I think for it first we need Apple to permit increased HRV readings during the day for more than just those who have AFib History turned on. πŸ‘
@paradeiser Sorry for the late reply, I am not on here that much! 😞 (1) please see here regarding Recovery: https://www.reddit.com/r/AthlyticAppOfficial/comments/1311b78/preventing_recovery_from_updating_after_you_wake/ (2) getting Recovery to not change during the day will correspondingly cause your Target Exertion to also remain static.
@psolanki Thanks so much for getting back to me! Workouts would be great, but for example my App Athlytic uses a 60 day baseline of HRV and RHR to calculate a Recovery score, so to date I've been having to use Watch Connectivity to pass the data over. Because of this I cannot deliver a true stand alone watch experience. The other metrics I would love to have at least 60 days of data for are: sleep, respiratory rate, blood oxygen, and wrist temp. Thanks again!
@psolanki is there ever any thought to expanding the ability to query Health data beyond 7 days on the watch? It seems like a limit that made sense early on for the watch but modern stand alone watch apps are really limited from creating the same experience on the watch as the iPhone. I've filed FB7649612 and try to mention it every year in my WWDC labs.
