Human. Nerd. Teacher.
This is not mine, it's from a colleague who posted it to our work Slack. But it's far too good to be left languishing there, so here's my (stolen, but I'm sure they'll understand) contribution to #Caturday.

Somebody made a cover of Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush in Early Middle English.

Pinch punch first of the month, all!
@boschbot is that Boris Johnson in blue?
@Sardonicus a kenku forging a document on the go
@Sardonicus sometimes the world makes me feel like Mr Small in the face of everything, and the wall isn’t high enough to keep the in, in, or the out, out.
I thought I’d imagined this in the #SkyAtlantic ‘Asian-noodle-bar’ trail before #TheLastOfUs  Ep4… have they been doing stuff like this or just in the round neon sign all this time?! Am I just late to the party?
#dnd A tale of two sessions:
Session 1 Level up, fight Baphomet, get asses kicked, stop at point when half party are frightened and on half HP
Session 2 Finish the job, killing the demon. Then base jump onto a Beholder and drive it into the ground while the party slices and dices, killing the beholder too.
End up 500xp each away from levelling up again.
Anyone have any experience of the #TalismanRPG?

Films of 2023, a thread to add to:

1. #TheWonder (2022, new). 8.5/10. Intriguing, enraging, thought-provoking. Fabulous performances from Florence Pugh, Ciaran Hinds, and Toby Jones - and a great, eerie, score. Not quite a 9 but I can’t put my finger on why, exactly. A good start to the year’s films, though.
