The overall death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 surged to 2,020, with 6,436 people injured, the Health Ministry said Saturday evening.
In its latest statement, the ministry reported that 97 people were killed and 133 injured over the past 24 hours.
The figures include 165 children killed and 641 injured, as well as 248 women killed and 1,107 injured, according to the ministry.

Lebanese poet and broadcaster Khatoun Salma and her husband, Mohammad, were killed on April 8, 2026, when an Israeli airstrike destroyed a residential building in the Talat Al-Khayyat area of Beirut.
The attack occurred during a period of intense Israeli strikes on the Lebanese capital.
We shouldn't stop at petitions in protesting Israel's barbaric and racist laws. We should at least sign petitions and do what we can to pressure the EU into sanctioning Israel. But also, don't buy products from Israel, unless you know for sure your money will help Palestinians to survive the tyranny called Israel.

NEW | The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a complaint in Lithuania against Israeli Sean Gor, a member of the “Vampire Empire” unit linked to the killing of Hind Rajab.
Lithuania’s prosecutors refused to investigate, but the foundation plans to appeal.

However, the Judicial Complaints Authority warned that his public calls for settlement in #Gaza and related statements breach the ethical code for judges, since they involve politically contested positions and blur the separation between his judicial duties and military service.
