But as they conclude in the last sentence, it is thanks to @galaxyproject and @gtn's incredible network that this project was a success

> In terms of impact and dissemination, the consortium is unique thanks to their considerable network, but also by demonstrating on the basis of convincing examples, that they have done everything in their power to leave no stone unturned to spread the importance of Gallantries.

Thank **YOU** so much, community members for making this such a success

We received our final report from @EUErasmusPlus: 96/100 score 🎉

> The Gallantries project ended with a very high score because the high expectations for all 4 criteria were fulfilled and even exceeded the previous expectations. The relevance was clear from the start. The consortium has, moreover, succeeded in achieving the proposed results and additionally realising them in a remote version, which means that the impact will be much greater than anticipated.

We are so happy with this result!

After 36 months, the Gallantries project funding is finally over. We submitted our final report last friday

Thank you for all your support over the last three years @gtn @galaxyproject @tnabtaf and the entire #UseGalaxy community!

We are so proud of the legacy of Smörgåsbord and asynchronous courses on the Galaxy community.

We plan to write up these Smörgåsbord series into a paper soon™!

@hexylena is doing some statistics today for the Gallantries end report.

Over the last 3 years of @EUErasmusPlus funding, we wrote a lot of training materials and planned the largest trainings that @gtn and @galaxyproject had ever hosted, but looking back on our achievements, these numbers are beyond anything we could have expected!

The graphic was generated via https://fair-checker.france-bioinformatique.fr/check which recently got an update and now processes GTN pages perfectly! Please go try it out with your favourite tutorial
FAIR-Checker

Are your #training materials this #FAIR? 🧑‍🏫

We put a LOT of work into making our platform as Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable as possible via BioSchemas annotations, PURLs, external deposition, and more!

Lately we've also been expanding beyond #UseGalaxy and towards data science and more, anything that can be taught on @galaxyproject/Rstudio/Jupyter!

So if you want your materials to be FAIR, just add them to the @gtn!

FAQ: How does the GTN ensure our training materials are FAIR?

@abretaud talking about the amazing #UseGalaxy work he and his group did during the @gallantries grant over the last three years. Lots of #Smörgåsbord interest and lots of fantastic results!

"In the past 60 months, 504 training events with over 24,000 learners have used this infrastructure for Galaxy training."

Wow! https://bio.tools/tiaas sure has become a critical part of the Galaxy Training path.

It's supported trainings around the entire world, on every continent¹ thanks to @unifreiburgRZ @galaxyfreiburg @AusBioCommons and @galaxyproject

¹ except Antarctica, if anyone wants to host a training there let us know 😉

A few weeks late for it's birthday, but TIaaS is finally properlly published!

Check out our publication in #GigaScience for how we built infrastructure supporting 24k learners over the last 5 years.

Happy fifth birthday to Training Infrastructure as a Service (TIaaS) that powers so many of our events in the past years! https://github.com/galaxyproject/tiaas2

Thank you to the Freiburg Galaxy Team @galaxyfreiburg @unifreiburgRZ, the US Galaxy team @galaxyproject, and the Australian Galaxy and French Galaxy teams for all being part of the TIaaS success story!

It is such an accomplishment that we provided infra for 24,000 students over the last 5 years.
