SATAN EXPLAINS #HTML using DEATH METAL
I made some real, tangible progress on my College Football 25 project. I set up and am hosting my own custom API on a local server, and created a separate client that is successfully calling that API. I finally have a dynamic, server-rendered website up and running (locally).
The perfect gift for a cat this Xmas
Holding myself accountable and keeping up with my dev-blog. Making sure I write about my most recent studies helps me retain the knowledge and really reflect & appreciate what I have been doing.
This week was all about Express, Middleware and becoming proficient in SQL queries.

I started a project over the weekend.
I am working on creating a website for my nerd friends and I to enhance our College Football '25 experience.
I identify as a "Front of the Front-End" developer so getting everything stood-up is going to be challenging, but I am determined to see this project through.
I am sharing my journey on my dev blog at dev.to:

Shoutout to @kevinpowell for motivating me to blog my progress through his podcast!
What's the best simple solution for a backend database that can be edited frequently to update a website?
Working on a small project for a friend for a sports league they run. They want to enter scores and have the website reflect results when they're updated. They currently use a Google Sheet.
Ive read some documentation on the Google Sheets API, itseems like it may be the easiest way to go, but curious if there's a simpler solution out there.
Hello, Mastodon!
I am a Front-End Developer who loves solving UX problems and designing delightful UI interactions. It's the small details that help elevate an experience to it's highest form.
I have spent my career in web development but also have a deep passion for gaming, and game UX/UI as well.
Looking forward to sharing & interacting with other devs & gamers alike!
