🔋 🔌 ☀️ In Varel wird heute Deutschlands größte Moor-Photovoltaikanlage eröffnet.

Der Solarpark auf wiedervernässter Moorfläche ist etwa 40 Fußballfelder groß und soll Strom für mehr als 9.000 Haushalte liefern. Gleichzeitig bleibt die Fläche landwirtschaftlich nutzbar.

Das Projekt wird wissenschaftlich begleitet und soll jährlich über 23.000 Tonnen CO2 einsparen.

Heute wird in Varel (Landkreis Friesland) der bundesweit größte Moor-Solarpark eröffnet. Er wurde auf einer wiedervernässten Moorfläche errichtet. Die Betreiber wollen mit der Anlage CO2 einsparen - und rentabel arbeiten.
