It appears that CBS omitted the 60 minutes segment about El Salvador's brainwashing prison because of an arbitrary decision not to cover that topic without a statement from the persecutor or a henchman. This decision is foolish submission - which is surely what CBS intended by putting a well-known magat in charge of news.
TendarIt is slowly dawning on some Russian bloggers what an absolute devastating loss the war is for Russia. Not a single strategic goal has been achieved, but a trillion USD wasted, plus more a million Russian casualties.

Der Toilettenreiniger Hirayama (Kôji Yakusho) führt ein so einfaches wie geordnetes Leben. Alles läuft in Perfektion nach Routinen ab – vom Dosenkaffee nach dem Aufstehen über die Arbeit auf den stillen Örtchen bis zum Lesen vor dem Einschlafen. Hirayamas Liebe gilt den kleinen Dingen und seiner Sammlung kostbarer Musikkassetten, die er genüsslich anhört. Dass sein junger Assistent Takashi (Tokio Emoto) beim Kloschrubben wenig Berufsethos zeigt, widerstrebt dem Stoiker ebenso wie die gedankenlose Hektik vieler Mitmenschen. Als unerwartet seine Nichte Niko (Arisa Nakano) vor der Tür steht und sich bei ihm einquartiert, gerät seine häusliche Ordnung auf den Prüfstand. Zunächst glaubt er, der Ausreißerin helfen zu müssen. Doch dann ahnt Hirayama, dass sie seinetwegen da sein könnte. Ihre jugendliche Offenheit und die familiäre Verbindung öffnen eine Seite in ihm, die er seit Langem unter Verschluss hält.
