They're closing the fucking sea
Design
We will weep at the memory of the shadow of the tallest trees.

I am working on the agronomic report (+ planting design) of a destroyed sand dune to create a beach resort for the military ****. It will now be transformed into a public beach.

This project aims to restore the coastal plant composition and utilize the concrete skeleton that has been exposed to the sea breeze for decades.

Meanwhile, I stood by the window, feeling the wind and rain. Yesterday, I would have cried if someone had told me that today wouldn't reach 40°C.

One of the things I struggle with the most when it comes to using social networks is doing so without considering external judgment. I mean, we think so much about the usefulness and effectiveness of what we say, but what matters, I tell myself, is that we express the things that matter to us. And I'm not good at doing that, not to that extent, I hold back.
I'm Francesco, born in Naples and raised near Rome, always volcanoes. I grew up in a garden, and now I work on landscape and gardens. I enjoy speaking of, contemplating, and conceiving spaces.
However, I'm not just about gardens, but people. Whether it's cultures, religions, or the relationships between individuals and places, they all pique my interest. I engage in cultural diffusion through my podcast called "Giardino Rivelato" and aspire to pursue a Ph.D. in the future. Who knows.
This is my feared working material
I have seen discussions on LinkedIn regarding the effectiveness of #rewilding in the context of an urban garden. The issue is complex, as always. On one hand, polarization has become tiresome. On the other hand, I understand those who, by studying complexity, polarize in the opposite direction. #Gardeners, designers, ecologists, agronomists (and simple citizens): they all have something to say about it. 1/6
These abandoned flowerbeds are so good, rich and lively — on the other hand the Platanus pruning in Rome is excruciating.
