Hey, #legalquestions of mastodon— Can a #501c3 #nonprofit make donations mandatory for any reason? Trying to figure out if it’s not kosher or just a bit icky for a nonprofit to “require” a donation in return for use of space owned by the nonprofit. ETA: it might sound like I’m upset about being asked to donate and this is not the case; it’s phrased as a mandatory donation and is being used in a discriminatory manner.

@diazona @bookstodon I feel like Nadia would tell you that it’s okay to fudge it a little. Give yourself 1 page on the day you missed (you can edit the journal entry so that it tracks for that day). Challenges are for fun and for motivation, and clearly that was valuable to you! Fudge the single page and get back the thing you liked doing!
