I'm all for businesses "virtue signaling" because it lets me know where I can go and have less of a chance of being stared at or mocked.

Cases in point - had a slow tire leak and found a locally owned tire shop (West End Tire) that posted a progress pride flag on their instagram for Pride with an "all are welcome" type message. So I took my car there.

On the flip side - there is a mechanic down the street that had FUCK TRUDEAU flags up for ages during and after the convoy so I know never to step foot in there.

Especially when it comes to trades/mechanics/things that are heavily conservative cis male dominated - I generally hope for indifference so it's nice to see support. Or for them to make it clear they don't want my money before I walk in.
