Turns out Preview really doesn’t like opening 1GB TIFF files. I got beachballs at points, I guess now I know why.
I had no idea this dialog *even existed*. As a Mac user for 20 years I don’t think I’ve ever seen it once.

Got an Apple Silicon Mac? Love TouchID but don’t want to use an Apple keyboard?

Let the trend die. A #YearInReview for my spam call blocking app???
So I looked at it. It’s basically a #Verizon ad. It’s all about how many calls they blocked overall, not about how many they blocked *for me*.
Every person would get an identical review. It’s totally worthless.
It has a thing for you to tap to see your statistics which just takes you to the standard screen in the app that shows what it’s done in the last 60 days.

Inspired by a post yesterday from @SwiftOnSecurity, I decided to see what Apple Photos thought of The Dress.
Searching for both “blue dress“ and ”gold dress“ worked. Other colors, such as red or purple, did not return the picture.
Apple‘s AI is just as confused as the rest of us about the color.

Attached: 1 image Apple Photos identifies objects and scenes in photos and videos with natural language and OCRs text for searching. You can search for "white dress" "silver building" or "orange dog" or things like missile. It's honestly not discoverable at all. You can also select text to copy.
