Building from years of work on bioregional food systems in BC, led by Kent Mullinix at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, this FLOW project brings together key food system actors from across Vancouver Island to collaboratively prioritize actions and inform regional food system resilience planning.

The Food Learning and Growing (FLOW) Partnership is hiring for multiple PhD positions to support key thematic areas of the Regional FLOW Teams. PhD positions will be hosted at partnering institutions, and candidates must meet the requirements of the program of the position they are interested in applying to.

Team Ottawa is focusing on four sub-projects:

This past May, FLOW Partners gathered in Montreal to officially launch the partnership. We learned about each regional project, delved into rich discussions on agroecological food production, sustainability and food policy.

We left inspired with new ideas and excitement to accomplish our project goals!
