Der Vergleich zu Standard Tools erscheint mir sehr treffend, jedoch nutze ich #git zu oberflächlich um schwächen beurteilen zu können. Um so spannender es aus einer neuen Perspektive zu sehen.

Die Alternativen zu Github habe ich mir direkt notiert, werde mehr als gerne wechseln, vor allem weil es aus meiner Sicht unangenehm ist vermehrt dazu "eingeladen" zu werden repositories für #ai training freizugeben...

If you use the essentials (Mastodon + Puma streaming, Sidekiq, PostgreSQL, Redis, Traefik) it uses only around 2GB of RAM.

...and probably your next 36 weekends. Gosh, I love homelab as a hobby😂

I wonder how long it will take for #AI to replace senior engineers. Witnessing no new juniors coming in is starting to get sad already, but this is starting to worry me.
