New old tape machine day! Tascam 22-2 second-hand store find. Dusty and grimy, and as can be glimpsed in the second photo: the capstan belt has turned into a rubber-y goo and wrapped completely around the capstan motor shaft. It's the worst I have seen actually, and it's going to be no fun cleaning up that mess...
Unfortunately my cheap crimping tool broke so I can't finish the front panel connector like I had planned😪
