Does anyone know how to navigate between preference panes of apps on macOS using the keyboard?
I tried to highlight the toolbar buttons and moving the focus works, but selecting the focused pane by, e.g., pressing Space only gives the error sound.
Seems like an obvious thing to do...

No surprise, but I can’t install macOS 26.4 beta 3 either.
Honest question: how does everyone use the new betas and check for changes on feedback you filed? Do I need a second Mac for that now, yes, now of all times … no, yes?

Just got a 2026-001 security update on my 2012 MBP running macOS 10.15 Catalina.
I only boot this occasionally for testing, and it's now on 10.15.8. What an unexpected surprise.

This is very sad news. I met Robert only through email and indirectly via the weekly MusicBrainz meetings and always admired the project (and family of projects) he built and put forward with the help of so many others.
I always liked his no-nonsense attitude, his willingness to call things out as they were, and his relentless focus on practical solutions that benefitted everyone involved. Truly a remarkable human who I'm sure will be greatly missed.
