Children’s entertainment has changed dramatically since the 2000s. The rise of algorithm-driven platforms like YouTube Kids and Disney+ favors characters who are brand-safe, easily merchandised, and morally unambiguous. Pippi, with her anarchic spirit and refusal to conform, doesn’t fit the mold.
