GrapheneOS will remain usable by anyone around the world without requiring personal information, identification or an account. GrapheneOS and our services will remain available internationally. If GrapheneOS devices can't be sold in a region due to their regulations, so be it.

I think there is another reason why the tech bros are willing to pay all this money to require an id scan to access the Internet: they want to be able to filter the bots and the automatically generated content. With more traffic coming from automation than real people, the ad clicks are losing value, and the ai models get poisoned. They pissed into the well so much that they desperately need a piss filter now.
