#Selfhosting at home this instance on my homelab and offering free as in freedom services who respect user's #privacy and learning by the same occasion about #networking.

I'm studying #ML and doing some certs in #infoSec on my spare time. Former Analyst for two big IT companies in Ireland before I left regarding their ethics. Studied Computer Sciences and Applied Physics in College.

I once went from Berlin to Stockholm with a tent and a bike because "it is there". #TheNordicExperiment

@clayogra by the way. What makes you think you would interest any secret services? I know the answer to that argument but does the people who use it really understand it? Snowden just ran away as Assange did in his ambassy in London instead of going to court. Those people knews it was bad what they were doing but refuse to face the consequences. I don't see why that should be our problem if those organisation are helping criminals.

@clayogra let's call it "donations". Most of the money isn't coming from really bright people usually. Look at what happens to #Whoenix on #Gab. I have been advocating for privacy for a long time because of what I saw but I'm starting to have doubt when I see organisation like @digitalcourage asking for you SSN to sign a petition about... Privacy. That's funny tho. Making stuffs into perspective.

I'm questioning if #privacy is really an issue or not a problem we actually made up and get ourselves isolated even more than we were. I don't like to put the left on a "piédestal"; advocating for free speech but hey! Not too much cause your could be called a nazi because that's easy to say behind a mask. I don't want to support projects for the sake of "privacy" if most of it is just a way for them to make money because of whistleblower, dissidents, criminals, racists, pedophiles,...

Now I'm questioning it. That cause... I'm wondering if we don't have made up "that" problem.

@datenschutzratgeber @chpietsch @reclaimyourface if I input another country where I'm a citizen as well I don't have that but I refuse to enter my SSN on a third party website. It's definitely not serious to talk about privacy here.
