Stupid question about the Fediverse -- if I create a centralized service, but let others download and run their own instances, just making sure they can pass data between them -- have I basically cloned what #activitypub does?

I desperately needed to get started on this very important software project, so I've spent the last hour searching for juuuust the right wallpaper to help set the mood and motivate me to contribute effort to the only thing that puts food in my family's mouths. Luckily I found a a cool black wallpaper with neon letters spelling "Stay Focused & Keep Grinding" 💯 🙏

Now I just have to knock out a quick "hacking @ 3am" playlist on Spotify and then I'm going to be so fucking productive!

I'm going to start a 30-day challenge where everyday I start a new 30-day challenge. By day 30, I'm going to have so many things to do.
We're still just cruising along in the middle of a global pandemic, with uncprecented levels of unemployment, and and the only thing more relentless are all these rich people spamming me, begging for my money. So out of touch.

I thought of the ultimate fitness lifehack. Save a month's worth of PTO days then go on vacation. Prior to vacation, apply for seasonal work at an Amazon Fulfillment Center. Work there for the month, earning extra income while walking like 25 miles a day.
I wanted to play an April Fools day trick at work, but due to the current situation I wasn't sure if it would be a good idea. So I changed the font on the DevOps website/Artifact repo to Comic Sans MS and changed any references of 'DevOps' to 'DevOops'.
My favorite part of the planning stage of a new startup idea is seeing a better executed version of my idea on Hacker News a few days into it.
