Wednesday was all about what colours your feline friend can see. Why does your feline friend have difficulty seeing certain colours in low-light?
Let's dive in and take a look! Cats can't see well in total darkness, however, having a dim light this allows them to see. With the dim light it enters the eye called, iris, which then dilates the pupils allowing more light to enter and reaching the retina.
With orange and red colours, cat's have difficulty seeing colours of low-frequency light.
Did you know your feline friend can see colours of greens, yellow, blue and violet colours! Isn't that cool? It's also interesting to know that your feline friend does have difficulty seeing colour in low-light like the colours red and orange.
