I've updated the RSS feed algorithm on Feditrends so it posts many fewer stories. Aiming for 5-10 a day, not the 200+ that made the old feed overwhelming.

I've made some changes to https://feditrends.com/. I've added a few more Mastodon servers as sources for trending stories. I also updated the display a little bit to show more info. Comments welcome, anyone using this thing?

Apologies, the update server for Feditrends is down again and it may be a week before I can get it working.

There's a technical problem with the Feditrends server and the site isn't being updated at the moment. Apologies, it will be a few days before I can fix it.

The experimental BlueSky feditrends page is now permanently removed. (It hasn't been updating correctly for months.) The primary Mastodon page is working fine and is actively maintained by @nelson
