This week, Assistant Chief McKamey and Firefighter Westrich attended the IDHS Fire and Life Safety Educator I course hosted by the Indiana Fire & Public Safety Academy. Both personnel attended to further progress our Community Risk Reduction Division.
The CRR Division is responsible for Fire and Life Safety initiatives in the community - such as Code Enforcement, Fire Investigations, Public Education, and other community outreach programs.

Fire Prevention Week™ (FPW™) is October 6-12, 2024
INSTALL, TEST, and REPLACE. Install smoke alarms in every bedroom, outside each separate sleeping area (like a hallway), and on each level (including the basement) of the home. Test smoke alarms at least once a month by pushing the test button. Replace all smoke alarms when they are 10 years old or stop responding when tested.
