Not sure if it is my router being "too new" or just godawful bullshit with 2.4 GHz but sometimes 2.4 GHz devices are just like "you know what fuck you I'll just deauth for no goddamn reason"

Love when my dumbest of dumb brother printer just decides it doesn't want to connect to the Wi-Fi and I get to go through the ritual of repeating the same steps over and over hoping it will work

I had to auth it to the secondary network and then re-auth it to the primary (because Bonjour doesn't work on the secondary) and despite showing as online it just refused to print

Ended up hauling it over to the router and just plugging it in

I hate printers

Love that the AC unit I installed in my office that was running fine when I installed it now has the curse of tripping the GFCI outlet

May end up ripping out the outlet and reinstalling it.

At least the one in the bedroom isn't tripping the GFCI anymore. Apparently it's something to do with the compressors kicking on that might make GFCI mad

Old house problems...

Granted I'm looking at photos I took and edited like over a decade ago so I shouldn't beat myself up too much
Man going through your corpus of work from a "can I submit this to a stock photo site" perspective really makes you feel like a crappy photographer

I swear any window AC unit company that says their unit will just fit all windows is such full of shit

These new ones were at least easier to install than the old ones but the cords are longer

Can't wait until we go mini splits

Not going to stop shooting film but after a weekend shooting digital medium format I think I'm going to give digital a try again

Film is just getting very very expensive to shoot and I feel like I've been putting off shooting due to processing costs

Getting back into digital may even let me self scan in the future which will offset some of the cost of film

Plus if I pick up the right rig I can use something that can adapt my TX-1 lenses and "shoot" in 65x24 so if that camera ever dies I won't be totally left with useless glass

Oh now they've moved on to *checks notes* complaining about output PL tones on a repeater

Well that's a new one. MBTA kicked everyone off a train and turned it around
I love that I have to clear all my desktop Slack notifications and unreads because I had a stuck DM notification
