Pretty knackered, and more active elsewhere, but I'll be using this space to share nice things.

We report about the wind blowing across this week: some days, a breeze, and the rest of the time, a gale. The wind is chasing a cold front, west-southwest veering southwest at night, counterclockwise, ten knots in the morning and seven more in the afternoon. Always going.
05:20 - Monday, 11-May. The tide is currently falling with a low tide of 2.5m due at 05:55. A dramatic sunrise breaks through the heavy cloud cover, casting a golden path across the calm sea. #robinhoodsbay #seascape #yorkshirecoast #northyorkshire
We report: the sunset lures us outside. We huff and puff a little, but we put our shoes back on, and as soon as we see more of the sky, we know it was worth it. We walk up the street to look for the horizon, accompanied by a jackdaw. The colours slowly leech out.

Not sure why they call it curating a playlist when Banger Management was there all along
We report: it was sunset last time, and it is sunrise this time, but we think the same jackdaw is following us. It would be bold to call ourselves certain, and nothing looks more like a jackdaw than another jackdaw, but our expert thinks its feathers are ruffled the same way.

A couple of years ago I wrote this story, about a non-verbal person having an AI "voice" pressed on them. I thought it would go out of date quickly, but now I think the fact we're all so used to AI bullshit does it good - it gives the human things the story is really about room to breathe.

Lungs, Larynx, Lips

Stories about rivers, leaflets, a hollow book, and (regrettably) "AI".

A sort of ridiculous picture that I love for the appearance of the nosy little mallard.
