A lot of reference to the #BirdSite during the #TwitterMigration. Although #Birds are only part of one kingdom of #Eucaryotes given their diversity of #behaviour and #morphology should they all be referred to jointly? I don't have a means of identifying this bird, it is not as elegant as some, but I am sure it is worth some #Evolutionary #Ecological interest. 🇿🇦
Wild mammals are atypical compared to the vast amount of human and domesticated biomass, but this lion managed to avoid being poached and gain the pleasant experience of sitting on a warm road surface in South Africa (and obtructing traffic!) #Lion #SouthAfrica

@pwgtennant I noticed this: I am not a publishing scientist for another reason: the science I have done in the last (quite a lot of) years has been protected by commercial confidentiality. I have been considering moving from mastodon.social because of the heavy load on it: considering also sigmoid.social and ecoevo.social but I realise not all scientists have such a diverse background as me.
