I wore jeans to work today, this was a tactical error.
Absolutely epic #DnD session last night. The party destroyed the Soulmonger, killed the Atropal, banished the archlich Acererak, reunited lost lovers, reincarnated the druid's murdered boyfriend (he's a drow now!), escaped the Tomb of Annihilation, left the endless jungle, and boarded the ship that will take them to their next adventure. Crazy stuff.
Star Trek should have done shit like this with the Ferengi constantly -- non-stop ads, billboards painted on the sides of their ships, different divisions of their government and military having names brandishing corporate sponsorship. Then their satire might have been, ya know, actually satirical, instead of just lazy cartoons.
