About Mehttps://evijit.github.io
Envious of hci.social! I wish there was a facct.social or something, haha. Our community is small enough to be easily admined but I personally don’t have the resources to set this up 🫠
@jiahao Tank is the best omg. The goodest boy
I am looking for more moderators for mastodon.social. Please e-mail [email protected] if you are interested, but please only apply if you have consistently been here for a while.

@stux @KLdivergence @ruchowdh @vruz @jayjha @sirisha That’s a different instance - this is an admin for our instance:

Also while we’re at it, #twittermigration
For folks just joining from #twittermigration, here are some things that helped me out (1/3) 🧵

Tip: iOS users, try using the app Metatext for Mastodon - it seems to have a better UX and clearly separate sections for DMs and public posts.

Here’s the link. It’s also free and open source :)

@jiahao See you there! (I have to register also lol but I’ll be presenting at HEGM)
@sbmisi @KLdivergence @rharang I am interested! We’d need policy people/legal people though, someone who has actually done lobbying work? I’m thinking about the CRAFT session as a workshop on converting research to policy, how to work with lawyers and lobbyists etc

By the way Mastodon friends, I am on track to graduate from my PhD in May 2023, and have started to look for full time roles in the industry as a a Researcher in Responsible ML/AI Ethics! Please pass it around and refer me to positions if you know of any 🙏🙏

My up to date contact details, published papers and resume can be found on https://evijit.github.io/.

Thank you so much in advance!
