Has any research been done about psychologic factors and staff resistance when switching from one software platform to another? Yes I am talking about companies and long-time MS Office users moving to alternative software/platforms. URLs welcome.

Personal note: Moving from Office to LibreOffice was easy for me because I'm a 'light' user. Must confess though that moving away from Adobe products after 25+ years of heavy use hand is a pain, especially when I have a tight deadline.
