Absolutely amazing Tarot deck: the Visconti Sforza Tarot at the fabulous Academia Carrara in #Bergamo . I believe a similar incomplete deck is at the Pierpont Morgan library. Used for everyday playing these sets were called ‘Trionfi’ : triumph or trump cards. Commissioned by 15th c. duke of Milan, Giovanni Maria Visconti.
